Take Loudoun Home

Take Your Piece of Loudoun Home

Loudoun County is more than you imagined. It’s more than 400 years of American history. More than sunrise breakfasts at cozy inns and sunset dinners with Blue Ridge views. It’s also an abundance of fine goods and craft-made treasures that you can take home every day of the year.

More than 1,200 farms help stitch the fabric of western Loudoun County, home to a wide array of products and experiences that can’t be found anywhere else in the Washington, D.C., region.

These rural businesses provide families with responsibly-raised meat and fresh produce that was picked in the field that morning. They support a vibrant craft beverage industry, and are home to animals from all six inhabited continents.

Farms are essential to Loudoun’s identity as a great place to live, work, play and visit. But they can’t survive without your support.

That’s the inspiration behind the “Take Loudoun Home” campaign, a collaborative effort between Loudoun Economic Development and Visit Loudoun to support the Loudoun Made, Loudoun Grown program.

Launched in 2015, the Loudoun Made, Loudoun Grown program has more than 140 participating farms and rural businesses. Every business in the program has goods sourced from farms in Loudoun.

Take Loudoun Home is a campaign to connect Loudoun farmers with local consumers and visitors. You can help support local farms by highlighting your relevant social media posts with the hashtag #TakeLoudounHome!
