The Loudoun Made, Loudoun Grown Marketplace is an easy way to support Loudoun County farmers and rural businesses. The Marketplace is essentially a virtual farmers market that allows you to shop and select the delivery or pick-up options that work best for you.
There are currently three centralized pick-up locations across Loudoun. The Ag District was the first location to come online when the Marketplace launched, expanding the customer pick-up options that it already had for Chrysalis Vineyards and Locksley Cheese.
As the owner of multiple rural businesses on their 412-acre farm, Jennifer McCloud is delighted to help her neighbors connect with customers in a safe, centralized location.
“I think if one good thing has come out of this pandemic it’s that people have been reminded of the importance of local agriculture,” she explained. “It’s great that Loudoun County has helped this effort by establishing and promoting the Loudoun Made Loudoun Grown Marketplace.
“We’re proud to be part of it, producing high-quality artisan wines, cheeses and breads at The Ag District, and to do our own part in supporting all our local agriculture. I hope folks order up some of our great Loudoun products, and we’re happy to help get it into their hands.”
To access the Ag District’s pick-up location, please make your purchase for the week no later than 48 hours in advance and choose the Ag District as your pick-up location. When you arrive, drive up to the building and you will be greeted by a member of our staff that can connect you with you products.
The Ag District is located in Middleburg, and offers pick-up times on Sundays from 12 – 2 p.m. and Wednesdays from 4 – 6 p.m.
