March on out Bogati for a one-man medicine show with nationally-recognized performer extraordinaire Diablo Dimes and mouth-watering, New-Orleans-style jambalaya from Sweet NOLA’s Southern Food Lounge!
Each ticket includes a plate of authentic jambalaya crafted by the “culinary gangster” herself, Chef Cheryl Ash of Sweet NOLA’s!
Diablo Dimes is Blues, Americana, Ragtime, Boogie Woogie, Dixieland, Calypso, Hokum, Roots: self-described as ‘Honkytonk, hooked, hop, lushhead heebies, and a full orchestration at a barrelhouse!’ It’s no wonder one raves about his unique sound, and memorable performances – he can put on a show like few others can!
This is a sincere, primitive, and nostalgic approach most songwriters only dream of. With a smoky freight train for a voice box, Dimes complements it well as an authentic, and seasoned multi- instrumentalist. Based in the Shenandoah Valley but having toured all over America, his music serves up plenty of dirty grit and rural confessions of a bygone era.
It’s going to be a funky and fun evening of dive-bar vibes, roots music and Cajun eats!
