The Loudoun Made, Loudoun Grown Marketplace is an easy way to support Loudoun County farmers and rural businesses. The Marketplace is essentially a virtual farmers market that allows you to shop and select the delivery or pick-up options that work best for you.

There are currently three centralized pick-up locations across Loudoun, including the Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum.

Adding the Marketplace is in keeping with the museum’s ongoing mission to promote farming in Loudoun County.

“The Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum signed on as a pick-up location because we feel it is important to support our local farmers and to connect people to them. It is important to us that eastern Loudoun residents have easy access to the fresh foods that Loudoun farmers provide, especially during this time of food shortages and concerns about where food comes from,” Museum Executive Director Lori Kimball said. “We are very fortunate to have access right here in Loudoun to a variety of meats, eggs, and produce. If eastern Loudouners can’t get to the farm, the Take Loudoun Home Marketplace can bring the farm to them!”

To access the Heritage Farm Museum’s pick-up location, please make your purchase for the week no later than 48 hours in advance and choose the Museum as your pick-up location. Upon arrival, pick-up items will be on the front porch of the Museum. Staff will either help customers locate their packages or deliver them directly to the customer’s vehicle. Social distancing will be maintained and the museum’s staff with be wearing protective equipment.

The Loudoun Heritage Farm Museum in located in Sterling, and offers pick-up times on Fridays from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. Options for socially distanced pick-up and trunk delivery are available.
