Welcome to spring and Virginia Vineyard Month! As the flowers bloom and the temperatures become more mild you will surely want to enjoy a glass of vino at one of Loudoun’s picturesque vineyards. Many of Loudoun’s wineries have vineyards on their property where they grow a plethora varietals to wet your pallet.
Breaux Vineyards boasts 104 acres planted in 17 different grape varieties. Their award-winning wines and spectacular views are a pleasing pair.
The Vineyards and Winery at Lost Creek is another hidden treasure in the County. Lost Creek’s winemaking style is focused on showcasing the fruit of Virginia. They grow Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot. All wines from Lost Creek are produced on-site in their winery and are handcrafted from 100% Virginia grapes. The fruit is harvested from our 16-acre Estate Vineyard as well as other Loudoun County and Virginia farms. Great wine and great events can be found at this lovely vineyard.
In addition to the views, Stone Tower Winery offers experiences and spaces for everyone. The Harvest Barn Tasting Room offers a family-friendly environment where children and well-mannered dogs are welcome. If you prefer an adults-only atmosphere be sure to visit the Tower View Tasting room.
The Loudoun Wine Trail will show you all of the places and ways to appreciate Virginia Vineyard Month and why Loudoun Grown grapes make the best Loudoun Made wine.
